Despite the major role the Vulcans have played in STAR TREK, we’d barely seen any of their ships until STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE debuted. The series called for a new Vulcan battlecruiser, which was designed by Doug Drexler. He put the engines in a ring rather than in nacelles as a homage to one of Matt Jefferies' original designs for the Enterprise. The Eaglemoss model is 5.5" (14 cm) long.
