The original version of the U.S.S. Discovery was launched in the mid-2250s and pressed into service in the Klingon War under the command of Captain Lorca. The design was inspired by work done on an abandoned STAR TREK movie in the 1970s by legendary production designer Ken Adam. This is the XL version of the ship, which measures 11.5" (29 cm) long and comes boxed with a magazine.
