XL The current version of the U.S.S. Discovery features  some 32nd-century  upgrades, which separated the nacelles, changed the ship's profile and altered the surface of the hull. In the real world, the modifications were designed by Ryan Dening who wanted to keep the essence of the design while making it look at home in the distant future. This version of the model is 11.25" (28.5 cm) long.
