The Oberth class was introduced in STAR TREK III, when we saw the U.S.S. Grissom in orbit around the Genesis Planet. The model, which was designed by ILM, made frequent appearances on TNG, where it was used from a number of different ships, most of which were science vessels from the Tsiolkovsky to the Pegasus. This is Eaglemosss's XL version of the ship, which is 9" (23 cm) long.
