The Medusan ship brings Ambassador Kollos to the Enterprise in the episode 'Is There In Truth No Beauty?'. When the episode was made in 1968 the budget wasn't large enough to include the ship, but it was added when the series was remastered for its DVD release. The new ship was designed by Mike Okuda. The design was loosely based on some ideas Matt Jefferies had rejected when he was designing the Enterprise. The Eaglemoss model is just over 3" (8 cm) long.
