Even before the Federation was founded, the Enterprise played a major role in the exploration of space. The NX-01 was Starfleet's first Warp 5 capable ship. Under the command of Jonathan Archer, it made first contact with dozens of species. The NX-01 was designed by Doug Drexler, who was aked to base the design on the Akira class. This is Hero Collector's XL model, which is over 8.5" (22 cm) long and packed with detail. This is the model only without the magazine.
