The E.C.S. - Earth Cargo Ship - Fortunate was an Earth Y-class freighter that travelled at low warp in the 2140s and 50s. In that period, cargo ships often fell victim to pirates since they couldn't rely on support from other Earth ships. The crew of the Fortunate fought back though and took a Nausicaan prisoner. The ship was designed by John Eaves for the episode 'Fortunate Son' and was the first 22nd freighter that we ever saw. The model is 5.3" (13.5 cm) long.
