The Vipers were the 'jet fighters' of Battlestar Galactica, and the reimagined series devoted a lot of energy to the lives of their pilots, who put their lives on the line to defend the last remnants of humanity. Eaglemoss made a limited quantity of Vipers that had Apollo's call sign on the cockpit rather than Starbuck's. These models were intended to be sold at conventions and exclusively online.
